Hazel Caballero-Scott is a botanical artist based in Manila, Philippines. She creates detailed watercolor paintings of tropical flora, combining scientific observation with fine art techniques to capture the structure, character, and quiet beauty of living plants.Although she began painting at a young age, Hazel discovered her focus in botanical art in 2016. Her work draws from careful study of plant form in the style of traditional botanical art, producing paintings that celebrate the diversity of Philippine flora. In August 2024, Hazel completed the Advanced Certificate in Botanical Illustration offered by the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, graduating with Distinction.

In December 2024, she was invited to join the Society of Botanical Artists (UK) as a Fellow member. Hazel is the first and currently the only artist from the Philippines to hold this internationally recognized botanical art qualification. Fellowship in the Society of Botanical Artists is widely recognized by botanical art collectors and commissioners as a mark of excellence. Her botanical paintings are held in private collections in the Philippines and abroad, and her work has been exhibited in local museums and international botanical art exhibitions.
