This huge bracket fungi was lying uprooted by a decaying tree. It was interesting to see how there were blades of grass embedded on the cap, new growth on the cap must be so soft to have developed around the grass. The beautiful wavy patterns and the intense contrast of the monochromatic colors on the cap made this such a delight to work on!
 
The original watercolor artwork was done on A3 cotton paper and finished in 2023. You will be getting an archival reproduction, professionally recreated using 100% cotton paper and pigment inks, it will last as long* as the original work.

The complimentary picture frame allows convenient presentation for giving the prints as a gift. It has a plastic front protection that makes the frame safer for shipping and for display in in high-traffic areas or children's rooms. You can easily swap out for your preferred frame but it's also presentable enough to keep.
